MAE BEE
Today, Mae picked out her own clothes and decided it was going to be her Halloween bee costume. This is what she arrived in this morning when her Dad brought her over for the day.
It makes me laugh, it makes me happy, it makes you forget all that I am facing right now. And that is a good thing. Maybe I am the luckiest Grandmother in the world to have a bee for a granddaughter. Maybe I am just the luckiest Grandmother period. I count my blessings each and every day!!
smiles...kids do that...they remind us what is really important...hope all is ok with you...
ReplyDeleteSo cute ... Maybe .... Mae Bee .... I always let my kids where their dress up stuff - it was definitely not worth it to make them wear something they didn't want to - and they spread smiles everywhere they went :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. you had asked about my tea - I get it at Trader Joe's .... Irish Breakfast - and yes, they do have decaf! Yay!
What a sweet looking girl! Enjoy her!
ReplyDeleteSorry, Teri, I'm the luckiest grandmother. But I'll settle for luckiest in the southern hemisphere and let you own the northern. She really is a delight!
ReplyDeleteTeri, what a dollface! My little one greets me with surprises like that too. I can just picture her face standing there, waiting for you to comment on her bee-ness when you opened the door. When I hold my grandbaby I breathe deeply the smell of her Johnsons baby bath scented hair and hold her close and kiss her squishy cheeks and know that I am holding love itself and that nothing else, nothing, in all the world is more important.
ReplyDeleteI have a 3 yr. old little grandson who came to visit me a few days ago wearing a bomber jacket.. they are so cute at these early years.
ReplyDeleteHi Teri ... not sure why my comment did not go through ... days ago ... the gorgeous pic of your grand daughter... so lovely .. love the word play you employ too ...
ReplyDeletei am enjoying your musings these days >>> Gina
