On Sunday we went out to lunch at one of our favorite places in Old Town Auburn-----
The Auburn Alehouse.
Notice the theme between this photo and photo #1?
Love the old brick walls, the industrial look with all the duct work showing,
The yummy "sampler" with all the beers available at the moment.
Notice the "evil eye" I am getting from my son-in-law? I'm not sure if it's because I caught him off-guard or if he didn't want me taking his picture. But most of the samples were already sampled so it could have been that too!
And his Dad? Or should I say "Robert Duvall look-alike"? I'm not sure what that face is all about!
I do know that we were all having a really good time, even the baby. They make the best cheese bread you ever want to taste. 3 kinds of cheese stuffed into a sour dough round, baked until gooey, and served on a plate with oil and balsamic vinegar and pepper flakes! Ummmm...so good. If anyone wants the recipe, let me know!
i can see robert duval there....ha...looks like a pretty cool place...
