I know...weird, huh? I was just driving home this afternoon and there, right before my driveway was this "forest" of mushrooms. They must have just come up because of the moisture from the melted snow. I have never seen so many in one spot. The photos don't even do them all justice because I didn't photograph all of them. I wonder if they are edible? I am not "up" on which wild mushrooms to pick and which not to pick.
Oooooooooh! Winter mushrooms! I don't think we have those in New England.

ReplyDeleteI have no idea if mushrooms outside can be eaten-- I stick with the store bought ones-- but your pictures are beautiful
ReplyDeleteWhat fantastic photos of the fungi Teri. We have had such dry weather here and our fungi has been very ordinary. These are wonderful. Thanks
