(The following excerpt comes from a book that was given to me by Melanie. It has become my bible, so to speak. It is filled with wisdom and true beauty. Thanks Melanie!)
"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature." Anne Frank
From Wabi Sabi--The Art of Everyday Life by Diane Durston
nice. like the quote...and i love going outside...
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie. Did she find this nature treasure? I loved the Anne Frank excerpt. I would love to be able to do this...but am too fearful. Alone in the woods here isn't safe. And the neighborhood is too noisy to enjoy any peacefulness. I truly miss it.
ReplyDeleteKaren--She found the dragon fly which her Mom has always had a fondness for and has decorated with them in Natalie's room. They even have a door knocker with a dragon fly. She built the altar under the tree when we were at the Botanical Gardens. She was so proud of it and is always asking me to take her picture. She is not shy with the camera, at least around her family.
ReplyDeleteSweet!

I am loving my circle of inspiration with your post. Photographing the moment is incredible..." a moment in the light" captured forever. We had an incredible busy day at the studio yesterday and I think everyone had a great time with The harvest Festival! Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
