Soughing of the pines..lovely
ReplyDeleteI'm reaching for that beautiful knocker after I finish this...put on the kettle...we'll sip some tea, and enjoy pondering on this beautiful quote.
ReplyDeleteCan you hear me softly tapping?
i love that word. evanescence...what a lyric quote...very cool!
ReplyDeletePour me one, too, please!
ReplyDeleteKaren--Anytime you're around I'll be here. I do hear you tapping. The door knocker is my friend's from Santa Cruz. Isn't it wonderful? I never asked her where she got it. She travels lots and loves to pick up the most wonderful things.
ReplyDeleteBrian--A friend from college has a group and one of their CDs, of which he designed the cover, was titled Effervescence, another word that sounds just as sweet. You've been writing some pretty darned nice stuff Brian! You should be really proud!
I love the part about lingering in the beautiful foolishness of things. A lovely pastime on a beautiful afternoon in the garden.
ReplyDeletesoughing .... I will be looking that up .... a lovely setting
