MAGPIE TALES TUESDAY

Water flows through me
toward the stone in your heart.
I wait patiently
on this precipice
hoping that a drop
of my loving kindness
will penetrate your heart
of stone.
I can perch here
forever.
(and I probably
will).
Some stones
are harder
than others.
Some stones
are
silent.
Some stones
are
buried in
mud---
waiting
for
the
water to penetrate.
See my outstretched arm?
It holds the possibilities.
It holds the water.

  3. Oh my, I think this is one of my most favorites of your poetry-- I think because of the stone references-- very nice analogies... and connections.
