------ Neem Karoli Baba
FROM KRISHNA DAS "HEART AS WIDE AS THE WORLD":
My foolish heart
Why do you weep?
You throw yourself away again
Now you cry yourself to sleep.
Cry yourself to sleep...
My foolish heart
When will you learn?
You are the eyes of the world
And there's nowhere else to turn.
Nowhere else to turn.
We have a collection of fossils from the riverbed on our patio. They always amaze me. Beautiful post.
ReplyDeletesounds like a song...a cool rock collection you got there...love the ones that look like hearts...
ReplyDeletefunny and witty poem!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
:) It's a beautiful song, isn't it? Please remind me to tell you the story behind it, which he relates before he plays it live.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I used to have a collection of heart rocks from the Eel river but we left them on our cats grave in Portland when we left.
ReplyDeleteI love your heart shape rock collection. The fossils remind me of people...each one so different, with bumps and dents in different places. Each one it's own uniqueness.
ReplyDeleteI love rocks and fossils-- and have a small heart shaped rock collection too... and in your more recent post-- I also have to say that I too have some animal skull collections...
