I SEE YOU.
Not the physical
You
but the
YOU
deep inside.
The one who
doesn't think
that I know
what IS inside.
Can you see me?
I think that
you think
that you do.
Or can.
But
you've never gotten
to know
THE REAL
ME.
The REAL me
REAL-EYE-EZ
what used to be,
what is,
what shall be.
THE EYES
(have it).
THE AYES
HAVE
IT!
Does anyone else see Willow in this eye? She's there, in the reflection. You're always with us, aren't you Willow.
now that you mention it i do see her...nice poem...i wonder how many ever get to actually see the real us...
ReplyDeleteYou have it, Teri. You do.
ReplyDeleteYou've got me looking really clocely into the EYE!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I'm wondering now, who really knows the REAL me!
Good eye!
ReplyDeleteI like to think we 'see' Willow in every photo prompt....nice one!
ReplyDeleteHey everyone--thanks for the comments! Willow...I agree with Helen: we do "see" you in every photo prompt that you give us and with this "eye" there was a bonus thrown in. We got to see the reflection of you there too. You make the writings special Willow. And everyone else's writings are too.
